A summary of our services are outlined below:

Service Description

Co-efficient provides six service roles. Each individual is supported by a comprehensive employment system. This system organises evaluation, performance reviews, log book support, training and development.

Technician Services

The role of the Technician has historically been based in the use of staff in a support or logistical role. The Technician can provide support in terms of :

  • First Aid or Safety
  • Rock and Rope Site Supervision
  • Aquatics Rescue
  • High Ropes Technician
  • Games and Initiative Supervisor
  • Indoor Training Assistants
  • Guiding

The Technicians role can be individual or a combination of the above skills. It is important that these skills are identified as a core competence to work for Co-efficient in the field. Risk and site assessments, customer briefing and emergency management are also important core competencies of this role.

This role does not include any sort of developmental work at all. Once any sort of facilitation starts to occur then someone is primarily a Facilitator.

Facilitation Services

The skills for a Facilitator also include some core competencies as a Technician. In many cases the roles overlap as a Facilitator may be supporting a Co-ordinator with both facilitation and technician capabilities.

The Facilitator is involved in delivering a process, which is engineered towards the needs of the clients and their customers. This requires a larger understanding of the client, the customers and some learning and developmental theories. Identification of risks and appropriate briefings are required of this role.

Co-ordination

The role of the Co-rdinator encompasses all that is identified as a Technician and as a Facilitator. It also includes the o verall organisation of a project. It does have the program and consultation process completed prior to the job. It requires:

  • The overseeing of all staff,
  • Risk management compilation,
  • Client liaison briefly prior, during and after the program
  • Documentation. e.g. workers compensation documentation, accident report forms, evaluation forms. Primary responsibility of equipment to and from the site from its original location
  • Budget management costs associated with the project
  • Land management and access

In many cases the Co-ordinator may fulfil a Technician or a Facilitators role during the course of a project. This is a decis ion which is left to the judgment of the Co-ordinator

Consultation Services

The Consultant is responsible for the entire program design. They are often the contact person that the customer is familiar with. The Consultant reserves the right to delegate the role of the project co-ordination to someone else if it is financially viable and it maintains or enhances customer confidentiality or consistency.

The Consultant can then be involved in one of the other roles associated with the project which may fall outside the realms of these descriptors. The Consultant is a negotiated role with the client. It will involve the preliminary scope and needs assessments as well as evaluation and follow on services.

Administrative Services

The need for some of our clients to enrol extra support in Administration during or prior to a project, we believe is a valued service. This role is provided to enhance client’s capacity to say yes to work and increase market Share.

The role requires any office duties which assist in the day to day running of a business or the preparation of documents and resources prior to a project. The role is to be negotiated prior to delivery. The service can be delivered on site or from a remote location depending upon needs and technologies.
